Latest Snow Report

Another powder refresh over the holiday weekend brought 3 FEET of snow in 3 DAYS! The storm has moved out, leaving clear, crisp bluebird conditions in Mammoth Lakes for the next few days. With all of the great new snow, the closing day for both Canyon and Eagle lodges has been extended. Both lodges will remain open for lift access daily with limited skier services through Sunday, April 21. The Annual Pond Skim takes place April 14 and the Village Gondola will run daily through April 21.

'23 - '24 Season Snow Totals in Mammoth Lakes

So far this season, Mammoth Mountain has a snow total of 326 inches and base depth of 122 inches at Main Lodge. Keep an eye on Mammoth Mountain's social media to see what lifts and trails are open each day. During storm periods, their team will provide regular updates on operations via social media.

As the seasons shift and colder weather, along with snowstorms, descends upon Mammoth Mountain, it's important to note that seasonal road closures and temporary shutdowns may take place. The following roads are closed:

  • All Mammoth Lakes Basin roads
  • All Reds Meadow roads
  • Hwy. 203 to Minaret Vista
  • Hwy. 120 into Yosemite
